    About the Course

    The SGUS Programme in Precision Engineering and Automation & Robotics comprises a series of short courses that aim to equip participants with various knowledge and skillset in areas related to such as Robotics, Manufacturing Operations and Processes, IoT, CNC Milling and Machining, etc.

     

    Topics Covered are:

    Basic Modules (7 hrs each)
    1. CNC Milling - How it works
    2. Introduction to Shopfloor Digitalisation
    3. Introduction to Collaborative Robotics
    4. Introduction to Data Analytics Using Excel
    5. Robot Operating System Fundamentals
    6. Digital Integration of Manufacturing Operations

    Intermediate Modules (14-21 hrs each)
    1. IoT in Manufacturing
    2. Digital world of 3D printing
    3. Application of Industry Robotics Technology
    4. Python for Machine Learning
    5. Understanding IoT Analytics
    6. Introduction to CNC Machining Processes
    7. Machine Vision-Application Development

    Advanced Modules (28 hrs each)
    1. Manufacturing Process Simulation
    2. Machine Learning Development
    3. Digital Manufacturing Essentials
    4. Smart IoT with Data Analytics
    5. Smart IoT Technology & Application
    6. Product Life Cycle Management
    7. Analytics for IoT with Data Visualization
