About the Course

Design Thinking is a user-centric approach that looks at and evaluates issues through emotive lenses and sensitive feelers. This course aims to develop an inquiring mind and nurturing the spirit of curiosity among participants by exposing them to design thinking concepts and processes. Participants will take part in activities that encourage understanding of user empathy. Participants will identify opportunities for change by gaining insights about the users, understanding their needs and wants. Participants will then generate potential solutions through divergent thinking. The course concludes with teams of participant collaborating in solving problem leading to the rapid prototyping of an assistive technology product.
